‘Fireball’ In The Sky Thrills And Scares People Across Region

As daylight was fading over the marsh behind Rick and Kim Swan’s house in Old Saybrook Sunday night, a group of about 22 parents and children were setting up in the Swans’ back yard and on the deck to check out the full moon, Jupiter and Saturn.

The “moon and star party” was part of a lesson on the solar system for the home-schoolers, who were both making and setting up telescopes. At about 7:45 p.m., the sky had not yet darkened enough for their observation — but they got a startling, and impressive, bonus.

A ball of flame rocketed across the twilight sky, racing east to west before vanishing somewhere over Long Island Sound.

“It was huge,” Kim Swan said. “It was really large, and it was white and yellow with green around the edges. It was really beautiful.”

People from throughout the region, and as far away as Maine, began calling police and fire departments Sunday night with reports of a multicolored object traveling from east to west at high speed. The Coast Guard put out an alert to look for an airplane that had possibly crashed near the Thimble Islands in Branford while police and firefighters were dispatched to reports that airplanes had crashed at Rocky Neck State Park in East Lyme and South Windham.

The Old Saybrook amateur astronomers, as space aficionados like to say, were not alone.

People called local fire and police stations to report a plane and flashes of green or orange flames in the sky, said John Mincey, a petty officer with the U.S. Coast Guard’s Long Island Sound office. […]

Mystic Seaport Planetarium supervisor Donald Treworgy said the eyewitness reports indicate that what people saw was a meteor.

“A fireball is the term that people often use to describe an exceptionally bright meteor,” he said. “It could be a piece of space junk but the military keeps close tabs on those types of things.”

He said the color of the meteor depends on what it is made of and said they sometimes leave a trail.

“I didn’t see it. I wish I had,” he said.

Sarah Porter of Stonington described a white ball with a red tail and said it did not appear to be a plane to her. People described the meteor has having a whole spectrum of different colors.

“It was so close it looked like it was going to hit Stonington Point,” she said.

Louise Brown of Stonington said it was not traveling level like an airplane but shooting down toward the Earth’s surface.

Treworgy said that meteors often look like they are much closer than they really are.

Jana Noyes Dakota of Mystic said she was on Long Hill Road in Groton when she saw it.

She said the blue green irridescent object was traveling very fast and then suddenly stopped and disappeared from the sky. She said it made no sound.

“It was pretty cool,” she said.

Swan said her daughter, Kelsey, heard a hissing sound just before the meteor shot past

“It looked a lot closer than any others that I’ve seen,” said Sally Faulkner of Old Saybrook, who was at the Swans’ house. “There was a definite, fiery streaming path. You could really see that it was a flaming thing, and that made it seem much closer.”

Kim Swan said the group knew the fireball was not an airplane or a missile because of its shape and its velocity. But for several seconds after the meteor disappeared, she said, they waited to hear it land. They didn’t hear anything.

“My first thought was, ‘Was that a meteor?’ ” Swan said. “Then I was waiting for a boom because it was big. … I’m still wondering where it touched down. I’m still thinking in the Sound, if no one on Long Island has said they have a hole or a big fire.”

“There was a big gasp and a big, ‘Did you see that?’ everybody in a chorus,” Faulkner said. “Here we were to look at the night sky and we never thought we’d have such a spectacular sight. Those are the things you read about but don’t often get to see.”

I just wonder about that strange remark: “traveling very fast and then suddenly stopped and disappeared from the sky…” What is UP with that?

Well, IF it really was a meteorite, it seems that this is becoming a rather common problem. Read the meteor supplement for many other reports of fireballs raining down upon us from the skies over the last three years. It is up to ten pages and counting.

Signs of the Times claims that their research indicates that fireballs like this are not flukes and that our planet is entering a periodic return of literally rains of asteroids, meteors and comets.

Two interesting pieces were posted on Signs of the Times yesterday. The first one partly expresses my own feelings: if God is as the Christian Fundamentalists describe him, I want nothing to do with such a god.

A neighbor recently insisted I read the Left Behind series. “Especially now after 9/11,” he said, “and the blessed countdown for the Rapture has begun.”

“Why are you so … well, cheerful, about the end of the Earth?” I asked him.

He gazed at me with the true alarm of deep pity. “I’m afraid you’ll have a rough time of it here during the Tribulations — plagues of locusts, frogs, viruses … the Earth attacked by tsunamis, volcanoes, dark legions of the unsaved.”

“Don’t you love any of us you believe will suffer so?” I said.

This gave my neighbor a moment’s pause. But then he admitted with some chagrin. “You can’t blame us born-agains for at last getting our heavenly rewards. We’ve waited thousands of years for End Times.”

My neighbor’s fervor sent me to search the Internet for the Rapture Index — a “prophetic speedometer,” which concludes that we’ve hit 153, and the warning, “Fasten Your Seatbelts.” Giddily, the Rapturers anticipate ecological collapse, Mideast holy wars and Christian Zionists as evidence of the Second Coming. In a twinkling, they say, the righteous will ascend, dropping golden dental work, our nightgowns and perhaps even some spouses.

All this might seem darkly comic, if not for a Time magazine poll that 56 percent of Americans “believe the prophecies in the Book of Revelation will come true.” And that the Left Behind books are the biggest selling fictional series in the United States.

In complex and challenging times, apocalypse is such a simple answer. This fight-or-flight fear is hardwired into our reptilian, forest-slashing, migrating, pioneering species — leave the Old World behind, find a New World. No need to really change, adapt or evolve, just find another planet or heaven to plunder for our own rewards. After all, the dark side of fundamentalism is consumerism.

The next time I saw my neighbor he sported a new bumper sticker: “This Vehicle Will Be Unmanned in Case of Rapture.” It was a surprisingly sunlit Seattle day and we strolled down to our backyard beach on the Salish Sea to continue our End Times talk. We sat down on driftwood and watched the comic black-and-white tuxedo harlequins diving and popping up in the waves. A Great Blue Heron swooped in with the caw of a dinosaur bird. How could this ancient bird fly with such huge wings? How did she escape extinction? Somehow the Great Blue had adapted and survived beautifully.

“So,” my neighbor asked excitedly, “what did you think of the Rapture Index?”

“Doesn’t the Scripture say, ‘For God so loved the world?’ ” I asked. “Well, I’m going to start a Real Rapture Index with signs and wonders of how beautiful and sacred this Earth is. Another mantra is: For we so love the world … .”

My neighbor looked at me, startled, then fell very quiet as we watched a harlequin float past, his bright beak dripping a tiny fish. Happy, so happy in this moment. The Great Blue cawed hoarsely and stood on one leg in a fishing meditation. Wave after bright wave lapped our beach and the spring sunshine warmed our open faces.

I put my arm around my neighbor, the driftwood creaking slightly under our weight.

“Listen,” I said softly, “I want to be left behind.”

Left Behind to figure out a way to fit more humbly into this abiding Earth, this living and breathing planet we happily call home, we call holy.

Slowly my neighbor took my hand and we sat in silence, listening to waves more ancient than our young, hasty species, more forgiving than our religions, more enduring. Rapture.

One of the major problems America faces is a large population of religious fundamentalists who have become as fanatical in their own way as any Middle Eastern Ayatollah. At present, they are caught up in their own version of the myth of the end of the world, and hope that by working to bring it about, they’ll get to sit at the right hand of their deity and to hell with everyone else. Never mind that the guy selling this belief is a child molester and makes money off of these fables, the seekers (and there is one born every minute) do so want to believe!

I started a blog, 9.11 Soundbytes, to post quotes from the memory hole on the terrorist attack as I found them. I received an interesting email from Mark Robinowitz of oilempire.us regarding the blog, and I will share a small fraction of it with you.

My guess is that he regularly sends something similar to all sites that link to The Pentagon Strike Video. The email makes him appear more like a paid COINTELPRO agent, or so I think.

What is so darn interesting is that this blog I have quoted from above links to a site that claims to have interviewed Laura Knight Jadczyk, the woman I keep encountering in my searches for answers to “how to get off this rock.” In this case, it really begins to look like she is onto something or there wouldn’t be so much effort to silence her. At this other site, Perfect Infidel, there is this:

Well, it seems that Knight-Jadczyk has really stirred up the pooh! Her research group is responsible for the Pentagon Strike video that cranked up the Washington Post!

All of this made me even more curious and my search turned up some fascinating items.

It seems that the Pentagon Strike video came out on August 23rd. Probably nobody really noticed it at that point, but it hit a chord of response in the hearts of millions of people. They began to madly download and forward the incredibly concise and well-done piece to their friends and relatives. Latest stats on how many people have viewed it to date are 300 MILLION!

Apparently it even landed in the email box of the Editor of the Washington Post. Or so the story goes as told by Knight-Jadczyk when I contacted her for clarification. She further told me:

What really gave me the creeps was the fact that George decided to make a previously unscheduled campaign stop in my little home town in Florida right after the post article came out. Nnotice the timing here:

August 23rd: Pentagon Strike Video which propagates wildly for a month

September 21st: First contact by Carol Morello of the Washington Post

October 7th: Washington Post article

October 19th: George Bush visits New Port Richey

What really gave us the creeps was knowing that, if they hadn’t seen it before, certainly George and Dick and the gang were watching the Pentagon Strike video after the Washington Post wrote an article about it.

My initial feeling was that Dubya’s visit to my little home town - certainly of NO importance on the campaign trail - was deliberately done to send a message to me.

As to exactly what Carol Morello wrote to me, here is the pertinent passage:

“A couple of editors here saw the video/film, and I was asked to find out what I could about it.

“As you can imagine, we continue to have an intense interest on the attack on the Pentagon and the people who were affected.

“I’ve just begun reporting, so it would be premature to tell you what “perspective” my story would have. My initial impressions are that the questions and theories expressed in the video got a spurt of attention in early 2002, after the publication of a best selling book in France, then the furor died down for a while, and now they have re-emerged with the extraordinarily wide dissemination of this video on the Internet.

“The 911 Commission report appears to have done little to dampen the controversy. I hoped to speak to you about how and why you posted it on your web site, what kind of response you’ve received and what you think about it. I’m also planning to speak to some academics, and groups representing survivors and families from 9/11. And I was wondering if you had any idea who put the video together, and how I might contact him or her. It appears it initially came out of the UK.”

Notice that she attributes the resurgance of interest in the “Pentagate” problem to the Pentagon Strike video.

Can we say “damage control?”

And if there is damage control, then that means there is damage.

Well, that’s bad enough, right? But wait, it gets worse! Perfect Infidel writes her own story as a preface to this and it is chilling in its implications:

[…] The dinner itself was “normal” in every respect, and MOST of the conversation was also “normal.” It only got strange when politics - including the subject of George Bush and 9-11 - was brought up.

Our friends who circulate socially among various government officials brought out some photos to show of a recent private party. Among the attendees of said party - which I reiterate, was private and not an “official function,” was the brother of Vladimir Putin! There was the usual grouping of various ministers, AND one of the most powerful men in the Financial World (and here I don’t mean America, I mean the GLOBAL Financial world!)

What was interesting about these photos was the obvious camaraderie of these individuals depicted in the photographs. There was Vlad’s brother whooping it up with what were obviously close pals in France.

Hmmmm…

So, of course I asked about this. What came next was, in a sense, quite shocking. It seems that it is common knowledge in these circles that Russian satellites photographed a ship-launched craft (seems to have been a drone type plane rather than a missle) that ended up impacting the Pentagon on Sept 11, 2001, and that, for various reasons this information has been withheld from the public.

I was naturally startled to hear this even though I have long held the opinion that it was NOT a commercial jetliner that hit the Pentagon. I think the thing that startled me was the fact that, if Russia (and perhaps other countries with satellites?) had proof that Flight 77 did not hit the Pentagon, why weren’t they revealing this?

It was explained to me that during part of the time George Bush was “incommunicado” on September 11, 2001, he was on the phone to Putin “negotiating.” That was a polite way of saying “blackmailing.” Apparently, Bush, by way of MOSSAD and/or the CIA had enough goods on Vlad to keep him silent.

Now THAT explains why Putin has not responded publicly to the rather obnoxious criticisms of Russia made by Bush and Condi Rice.

In any event, it was explained to me further that these satellite photos HAD been revealed to Thierry Meyssan who was asked by either French or Russian intell to write his book “Pentagate” to “leak” the info that Flight 77 did not hit the Pentagon. His instructions were, apparently, that he had to “make the case” without recourse to official backing; he couldn’t refer to the satellite photos.

Well, suddenly, a LOT of things began to make sense.

Indeed, a lot of things begin to make sense. For example, all those so-called 9-11 researchers who are claiming that the people who question whether Flight 77 actually hit the Pentagon are bonkers and are setting up the 9-11 Truth Movement for a fall, have to explain why it is that intelligence agencies of other countries have leaked this prime bit of information? After all, why would they want to make the 9-11 Truth movement look stupid? If they did, if George Bush and Co suddenly came out with all the photos from all the cameras that most certainly filmed whatever hit the pentagon, and this act put a period to all speculation about what really happened on that day, it could only HELP the Neocons in their drive for Global Domination.

Certainly the foreign intell services aren’t interested in doing THAT!

So, logically, if there was any chance that such a leak would ultimately HELP the neocons, it wouldn’t have happened.

Which takes us then to another point made by Perfect Infidel regarding the propagation of disinformation by such as Mike Ruppert and another guy named Mark Rabinowitz or Robinowitz (not sure which is the correct spelling). She says:

The three biggest stories used to alienate the public from 9/11 truth

1. No Planes on 9/11 (Pentagon, North Tower WTC, “pod plane” at South

why are there bogus 9/11 websites? a mix of malice and incompetence, but
both make real evidence harder to find

Considering the very good case for the involvement of MOSSAD in 9-11, the very good case that the victims phone calls WERE faked, not to mention what I have discovered about satellite photos on 9-11, it sure does look like the Oil Empire Website is a “plant,” so to say.

This takes us back to the original website that I quoted where the author reports that he received an email from this Rabinowitz/Robinowitz guy:

Yes indeedy, it really looks like Laura Knight Jadczyk has stirred up a hornet’s nest. Imagine getting such “personal attention” from Dubya and the Neocons! It fair gives a person the willies, it does!

It also suggests that she must be a lot closer to the truth than anybody else.

Patriot Act Being Used To Implement Currency Controls

The following exchange of letters appears on the Gold Eagle board in the Gold Forum.

A letter to and reponse from Jim Sinclair:

My Bank in London called me today to inform me that in order to comply with new US laws, they are halting all new services to American residents(citizens?).
I can keep my accounts for the moment, but I cannot add any new currency accounts or any other investment products to my portfolio. They will not allow any US residents to open accounts in the future.

Just my thoughts but:

1. New bankruptcy law (last week)
2. Announcement that travel to other parts of North America will require a passport (papers please)
3. New compliance standards for foreign banks (this past year)
4. Elimination of foreign accounts for US residents (one by one)

Currency controls have been initiated.

Dear “Anonymous Pal:”

I have cautioned the Community that financial privacy is all but a chapter of history - with the exception of bullion coins.

Any one attempting to open international bank accounts at major and reputable non-US banks will run into the difficulties you have outlined, making it all but impossible to accomplish even with the best of intentions.

The net result is an effective form of currency control as part of PatriotAct II. This covert method of currency control is a preemptive strike at what is coming when it is realized - as the Economist put it - that there is no constituent support and therefore no real political will to reduce the US Budget Deficit.

As a result, the dollar must decline. The result of a declining dollar is logically a move towards other currencies which in itself is a form of Gresham’s law.

Of all the possibilities you outline, there is only one that is in the black: Patriot II will be just as effective as any currency control put into law. This has significant implications for gold once all of this hits the proverbial fan.

Tuesday we managed to get the garden started with several varieties of lettuce and some tomato plants. Since I love Fried Green Tomatoes, the only way to have them is to grow your own. Have you ever seen a prime green tomato in the supermarket? We also put in two pear trees, a nectarine and a fig. I’m planning on getting a couple of peach trees and cherry trees next. I’ve put in a couple dozen roses in the past year, wisteria, jasmine, lavendar, and have a spot designated for a row of lilac bushes.

Everything is intensely green just now, the birds are hopping about with bits of grass, leaves, twigs and so on, building nests. Spring is just busting out all over, as they say.

But that’s not what I wanted to talk about today.

I read something the other day that literally made me sick.

And the Verdict on Justice Kennedy Is: Guilty

Supreme Court Justice Anthony M. Kennedy is a fairly accomplished jurist, but he might want to get himself a good lawyer — and perhaps a few more bodyguards.

Conservative leaders meeting in Washington yesterday for a discussion of “Remedies to Judicial Tyranny” decided that Kennedy, a Ronald Reagan appointee, should be impeached, or worse.

Phyllis Schlafly, doyenne of American conservatism, said Kennedy’s opinion forbidding capital punishment for juveniles “is a good ground of impeachment.” To cheers and applause from those gathered at a downtown Marriott for a conference on “Confronting the Judicial War on Faith,” Schlafly said that Kennedy had not met the “good behavior” requirement for office and that “Congress ought to talk about impeachment.”

Next, Michael P. Farris, chairman of the Home School Legal Defense Association, said Kennedy “should be the poster boy for impeachment” for citing international norms in his opinions. “If our congressmen and senators do not have the courage to impeach and remove from office Justice Kennedy, they ought to be impeached as well.”

Not to be outdone, lawyer-author Edwin Vieira told the gathering that Kennedy should be impeached because his philosophy, evidenced in his opinion striking down an anti-sodomy statute, “upholds Marxist, Leninist, satanic principles drawn from foreign law.”

Ominously, Vieira continued by saying his “bottom line” for dealing with the Supreme Court comes from Joseph Stalin. “He had a slogan, and it worked very well for him, whenever he ran into difficulty: ‘no man, no problem,’ ” Vieira said.

The full Stalin quote, for those who don’t recognize it, is “Death solves all problems: no man, no problem.” Presumably, Vieira had in mind something less extreme than Stalin did and was not actually advocating violence. But then, these are scary times for the judiciary. An anti-judge furor may help confirm President Bush’s judicial nominees, but it also has the potential to turn ugly.

A judge in Atlanta and the husband and mother of a judge in Chicago were murdered in recent weeks. After federal courts spurned a request from Congress to revisit the Terri Schiavo case, House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Tex.) said that “the time will come for the men responsible for this to answer for their behavior.” Sen. John Cornyn (R-Tex.) mused about how a perception that judges are making political decisions could lead people to “engage in violence.”

“The people who have been speaking out on this, like Tom DeLay and Senator Cornyn, need to be backed up,” Schlafly said to applause yesterday. One worker at the event wore a sticker declaring “Hooray for DeLay.”

The conference was organized during the height of the Schiavo controversy by a new group, the Judeo-Christian Council for Constitutional Restoration. This was no collection of fringe characters. The two-day program listed two House members; aides to two senators; representatives from the Family Research Council and Concerned Women for America; conservative activists Alan Keyes and Morton C. Blackwell; the lawyer for Terri Schiavo’s parents; Alabama’s “Ten Commandments” judge, Roy Moore; and DeLay, who canceled to attend the pope’s funeral.

The Schlafly session’s moderator, Richard Lessner of the American Conservative Union, opened the discussion by decrying a “radical secularist relativist judiciary.” It turned more harsh from there.

Schlafly called for passage of a quartet of bills in Congress that would remove courts’ power to review religious displays, the Pledge of Allegiance, same-sex marriage and the Boy Scouts. Her speech brought a subtle change in the argument against the courts from emphasizing “activist” judges — it was, after all, inaction by federal judges that doomed Schiavo — to “supremacist” judges. “The Constitution is not what the Supreme Court says it is,” Schlafly asserted.

Former representative William Dannemeyer (R-Calif.) followed Schlafly, saying the country’s “principal problem” is not Iraq or the federal budget but whether “we as a people acknowledge that God exists.”

Farris then told the crowd he is “sick and tired of having to lobby people I helped get elected.” A better-educated citizenry, he said, would know that “Medicare is a bad idea” and that “Social Security is a horrible idea when run by the government.” Farris said he would block judicial power by abolishing the concept of binding judicial precedents, by allowing Congress to vacate court decisions, and by impeaching judges such as Kennedy, who seems to have replaced Justice David H. Souter as the target of conservative ire. “If about 40 of them get impeached, suddenly a lot of these guys would be retiring,” he said.

Vieira, a constitutional lawyer who wrote “How to Dethrone the Imperial Judiciary,” escalated the charges, saying a Politburo of “five people on the Supreme Court” has a “revolutionary agenda” rooted in foreign law and situational ethics. Vieira, his eyeglasses strapped to his head with black elastic, decried the “primordial illogic” of the courts.

Invoking Stalin, Vieira delivered the “no man, no problem” line twice for emphasis. “This is not a structural problem we have; this is a problem of personnel,” he said. “We are in this mess because we have the wrong people as judges.”

A court spokeswoman declined to comment.

I am almost SPEECHLESS about this.

To start off with, it was easy to see that the media frenzy surrounding Terri Schiavo was undoubtedly designed to lead to elimination of any judicial oversight of the Executive branch of the government. It was clear to me that it was a platform for doing away with the democratic checks and balances system created by the American Founding Fathers. But to have my prediction manifest so soon and so BLATANTLY is still shocking and sickening.
So it seems that, according to these Disciples of Satan (for that is what they are!), refusing to execute kids who have made terrible errors of judgment (it could be YOUR child!) is an impeachable offense!

But certainly, lying about Saddam Hussein’s non-existent connection to al-Qaeda is NOT an impeachable offense! Excuuuuuse me!

Reading “the country’s “principal problem” is not Iraq or the federal budget but whether “we as a people acknowledge that God exists” simply staggers the mind.
I don’t think I have ever read anything more insane than “a Politburo of “five people on the Supreme Court” has a “revolutionary agenda” rooted in foreign law and situational ethics. Vieira, his eyeglasses strapped to his head with black elastic, decried the “primordial illogic” of the courts.

Talk about your “primordial illogic.”

What is even scarier is the fact that these lunatics actually get the press coverage and the REAL Christians do NOT!

One thing that occurs to me as I consider this monster, Phyllis Schlafly - God Forbid that she should have children and pass on her psychopathic genes - is that America turned out in amazing numbers last November NOT to vote FOR Bush, but to vote AGAINST him.
People don’t turn out in such numbers to vote when the status quo is okay. Historically, it has only been when they are really unhappy with things that they are galvanized to vote. And I do not, for one minute, think that it was a whole slew of Christian Nazis that turned out, either.

The problem was, since Bush and Co already had control of the election process, from recording the ballots to counting them, it was a foregone conclusion that Bush would be “elected.” This gang will not be dislodged by any election process that is not conducted and monitored by impartial international experts.

In the article quoted above, Viera quoted Stalin who said: “Death solves all problems: no man, no problem.” When you consider that Stalin said something else: “It is not those who vote who have the power. The power belongs to those who count the votes”, put together with the horrifying spectacle recounted above, you get a good idea of where America is going. The journalist excused Viera by saying that “Presumably, Vieira had in mind something less extreme than Stalin did and was not actually advocating violence,” but I don’t think so. America can expect purges soon - lethal purges of any who do not toe the Party line.

An anti-judge furor may not only help confirm President Bush’s judicial nominees, but it also may ensure that Bush is granted the powers of Fuhrer.

Now, let’s consider the Schiavo case for a moment. As I have written, in this case, I think it was murder. The problem is: I also think it was SET UP that way! Terri Schiavo was not in a “persistent vegetative state.” Yes, she was brain damaged and severely disabled, and those elements were ustilized to whip the Christian Right to a flaming frenzy.

Let’s get this straight right now: if Terri Schiavo had been in a PVS, I would have been the first to advocate pulling the plug. I am pro-choice even if I am not crazy about the idea of abortions. I think that prevention is a better policy. But better to have an abortion than an unwanted child. Women have the right to decide if they will bear children or not. It’s that simple.

But the point I want to make is this: It took a long time for an issue with such clear-cut lines to come along that gave us an accurate set of polling parameters with which to measure the facts regarding the real numbers of Americans who support BUSH & CO….

The fact is: when polls were taken asking if Americans approved of what the president and the congress had done regarding Terri Schiavo’s pathetic plight, 82% DISAPPROVED.

Let me repeat that: EIGHTY TWO percent of Americans DISAPPROVED!

What does that tell us?

It tells us loud and clear that all of the religious right and radical right put together comprises a MINORITY of about 18% of the American People.

Yes indeed: the CULT getting all the press attention, the CULT that is destroying America by using it in an INSANE attempt to take over the World is, like Hitler’s disciples, a MINORITY.
So, why don’t we hear more about the REAL MAJORITY of Americans?

The Five Dancing Israelis Arrested On 9/11

On the day of the 9-11 attacks, former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was asked what the attack would mean for US-Israeli relations. His quick reply was: “It’s very good…….Well, it’s not good, but it will generate immediate sympathy (for Israel)”

A Mossad surveillance team made quite a public spectacle of themselves on 9- 11.

The men set up cameras by the Hudson River and trained them on the twin towers.

Police received several calls from angry New Jersey residents claiming “middle-eastern” men with a white van were videotaping the disaster with shouts of joy and mockery. […]

[T]hey were seen by New Jersey residents on Sept. 11 making fun of the World Trade Center ruins and going to extreme lengths to photograph themselves in front of the wreckage. […]

Witnesses saw them jumping for joy in Liberty State Park after the initial impact. Later on, other witnesses saw them celebrating on a roof in Weehawken, and still more witnesses later saw them celebrating with high fives in a Jersey City parking lot. […]

According to ABC’s 20/20, when the van belonging to the cheering Israelis was stopped by the police, the driver of the van, Sivan Kurzberg, told the officers:

“We are Israelis. We are not your problem. Your problems are our problems. The Palestinians are your problem.”

The police and FBI field agents really became suspicious when they found maps of the city with certain places highlighted, box cutters (the same items that the hijackers supposedly used), $4700 cash stuffed in a sock, and foreign passports. Police also told the Bergen Record that bomb sniffing dogs were brought to the van and that they reacted as if they had smelled explosives.

The FBI seized and developed their photos, one of which shows Sivan Kurzberg flicking a cigarette lighter in front of the smouldering ruins in an apparently celebratory gesture.

The Jerusalem Post later reported that a white van with a bomb was stopped as it approached the George Washington Bridge. Of Course, the Post did not reveal the true ethnicity of the suspects. Here’s what the Jerusalem Post reported on September 12, 2001:

American security services overnight stopped a car bomb on the George Washington Bridge. The van, packed with explosives, was stopped on an approach ramp to the bridge. Authorities suspect the terrorists intended to blow up the main crossing between New Jersey and New York, Army Radio reported. […]

What’s really intriguing is that ABC’s 20/20, the New York Post, and the New Jersey Bergen Record all clearly and unambiguously reported that a white van with Israelis was intercepted on a ramp near Route 3, which leads directly to the Lincoln Tunnel.

But the Jerusalem Post, Israeli National News (Arutz Sheva), and Yediot America, all reported, just as clearly and unambiguously, that a white van with Israelis was stopped on a ramp leading to the George Washington Bridge, which is several miles north of the Lincoln Tunnel.

It appears as if there may actually have been two white vans involved, one stopped on each crossing. This would not only explain the conflicting reports as to the actual location of the arrests, but would also explain how so many credible eye-witnesses all saw celebrating “middle-easterners” in a white van in so many different locations. It also explains why the New York Post and Steve Gordon (lawyer for the 5 Israelis) originally described how three Israelis were arrested but later increased the total to five.

Perhaps one van was meant to drop off a bomb while the other was meant to pick up the first set of drivers while re-crossing back into New Jersey? If a van was to be used as a parked time-bomb on the GW Bridge, then certainly the drivers would need to have a “get-away van” to pick them up and escape. And notice how the van (or vans) stayed away from the third major crossing - the Holland Tunnel- which was where the police had originally been directed to by that anti-Palestinian 9-1-1 “mystery caller”. A classic misdirection play.

From there, the story gets becomes even more suspicious. The Israelis worked for a Weehawken moving company known as Urban Moving Systems. An American employee of Urban Moving Systems told the The Record of New Jersey that a majority of his co-workers were Israelis and they were all joking about the attacks.

A few days after the attacks, Urban Moving System’s Israeli owner, Dominick Suter, dropped his business and fled the country for Israel. He was in such a hurry to flee America that some of Urban Moving System’s customers were left with their furniture stranded in storage facilities (20).

It was later confirmed that the five detained Israelis were in fact Mossad agents. They were held in custody for 71 days before being quietly released. Some of the movers had been kept in solitary confinement for 40 days. […]

The US government immediately attributed Osama bin Laden to the 9/11 attacks even though he had no previous record of doing anything on this scale. Immediately after the Flight 11 hit WTC 1 CIA Director George Tenet said “You know, this has bin Laden’s fingerprints all over it.”

The compliant mainstream media completely ignored the Israeli connection. Immediately following the 9-11 attacks, the media was filled with stories linking the attacks to bin Laden. TV talking-heads, “experts”, and scribblers of every stripe spoon-fed a gullible American public a steady diet of the most outrageous propaganda imaginable.

We were told the reason bin Laden attacked the USA was because he hates our “freedom” and “democracy”. […]

To date, the only shred of “evidence” to be uncovered against Bin Laden was a barely audible fuzzy amateur video that the Pentagon just happened to find “lying around” in Afghanistan. […]

[A] number of intelligence officials have raised questions about Osama bin Laden’s capabilities. “This guy sits in a cave in Afghanistan and he’s running this operation?” one C.I.A. official asked. “It’s so huge. He couldn’t have done it alone.” A senior military officer told me that because of the visas and other documentation needed to infiltrate team members into the United States a major foreign intelligence service might also have been involved.

There is no evidence, be it hard or circumstantial, to link the Al Qaeda “terrorist network” to these acts of terror, but there is a mountain of evidence, both hard and circumstantial, which suggests that the Zionist Mafia has been very busy framing Arabs for terror plots against America.

WHat happened to the five celebrating Israeli “movers”, (Mossad agents), who were arrested and placed in solitary confinement for weeks after they were spotted in a white van suspected of attempting to blow up the George Washington Bridge. We also know about the Israeli owner of Urban Moving Systems - Dominick Suter - then suddenly abandoned his “moving company” and fled for Israel on 9-14. But there were still more Israeli “movers” and other Israelis whose actions raise serious suspicions. Even more suspicious is how they are always quietly released and deported.

In October of 2001, three more Israeli “movers” were stopped in Plymouth, PA because of their suspicious behavior. These “movers” were seen dumping furniture near a restaurant dumpster! When the restaurant manager approached the driver, a “Middle Eastern” man later identified as Moshe Elmakias fled the scene. The manager made note of the truck’s sign which read “Moving Systems Incorporated” and called the police.

When the police spotted the truck, two other Israelis - Ayelet Reisler and Ron Katar began acting suspiciously. The Plymouth police searched the truck and found a video. The Israelis were taken into custody and the video tape was played at the police station. The video revealed footage of Chicago with zoomed in shots of the Sears Tower. The police quickly alerted the FBI and it was also discovered that the Israelis had falsified travel logs and phony paperwork on them. They were also unable to provide a name and telephone number for the customer that they claimed to have been working for. These Israelis were up to some sort of dirty business, and you can be sure it had nothing to do with moving furniture.

These Israeli spies may have had a dark sense of humor. The name of their “moving company” actually contained the word MOSSAD embedded inside. Moving Systems Incorporated… MOving SyStems IncorporAteD…….MOSSAD

On October 10, 2001, CNN made a brief mention of a foiled terrorist bomb plot in the Mexican Parliament building. They promised to bring any further developments of this story to their viewers, but the incident was never heard of again in America.

But the story appeared in bold headlines on the front page of the major Mexican newspapers and was also posted on the official website of the Mexican Justice Department. Two terror suspects were apprehended in the Mexican Chamber of Deputies. Caught red-handed, they had in their possession a high powered gun, nine hand grenades, and C-4 plastic explosives. Within days, this blockbuster story not only disappeared from the Mexican press, but the Israelis were quietly released and deported! The two terrorists were Salvador Gerson Sunke and Sar ben Zui. Can you guess what their ethnicity was? Sunke was a Mexican jew and Zui was a colonel with the Israeli special forces (MOSSAD).

The story in El Diario de Mexico went on to reveal that the Zionist terrorists had fake Pakistani passports on them. Can you say “false flag operation?” .

Many Mexicans expressed shock at the release of the two Israelis. But when you learn that Mexico’s Secretary of Foreign Relations is a Zionist named Jorge Gutman, it’s not surprising! […]

In November of 2001, 6 more suspicious Israelis were detained in Florida. They had in their possession box cutters, oil pipeline plans, and nuclear power plant plans. The local police called in the Feds and Immigration officials took over the scene and released the men without calling the FBI.

The Jerusalem Post ran this story under the headline “FBI Suspects Israelis of Nuclear Terrorism”. The Miami Herald and the Times of London also carried this amazing story and all revealed how furious FBI officials were that these Israeli terror suspects with nuclear power plant plans were set free by INS officials. […]

In December, 2001, the Los Angeles Times published the story of how two jewish terrorists were arrested by the FBI for plotting to blow up the office of US Congressman of Arab descent - Darrell Issa (R-CA), and a California mosque. Irv Rubin and Earl Kruger of the Jewish Defense League (JDL) were charged with conspiracy to destroy a building by means of explosives. This story got brief national coverage but quickly disappeared too. These Zionists sure love blowing up buildings and killing innocent people don’t they?

In May of 2002, yet another moving van was pulled over in Oak Harbor, Washington near the Whidbey Island Naval Air Station. Fox News reported that the van was pulled over for speeding shortly after midnight. The passengers told the police they were delivering furniture, but because it was so late at night, the police weren’t buying the story. A bomb sniffing dog was brought in and the dog detected the presence of TNT and RDX plastic explosives in the truck (great stuff for demolishing buildings!) Both Fox News and the Ha’aretz newspaper of Israel reported that the two “movers” were Israelis.

In December, 2002, Ariel Sharon made the amazing claim that Al-Qaeda agents were operating inside of Israel. But when Palestinian authorities apprehended the suspects, they turned out to be Palestinian traitors impersonating Al-qaeda agents for the MOSSAD! […]

According to FOX news, throughout late 2000 and 2001, a total of 200 Israeli spies were arrested. It was the largest spy ring to ever be uncovered in the history of the United States.

The Washington Post also reported that some of these Israelis were arrested in connection with the 9-11 investigation. US. Carl Cameron of FOX News Channel did a excellent four part, nationally televised, series of investigations into this blockbuster scandal. But FOX pulled the investigative series after Zionist groups complained to FOX executives. FOX even went so far as to remove the written transcripts of the series from its website! In it’s place was posted a chilling, Orwellian message which reads: “This story no longer exists.”

Fortunately for the sake of history, the FOX transcripts were copied onto to many other websites and all four parts are available for your review.

The FOX series and other mainstream news media sources revealed that many of these Israelis were army veterans with electronics and explosives expertise. Many of them failed lie detector tests. FBI agents told FOX that some of their past investigations were compromised because suspects had been tipped off by Israeli wiretapping specialists.

It was discovered that Israeli companies such as Comverse and Amdocs have the capability to tap American telephones (great for blackmailing all those wife-cheating politicians!) FBI agents also told FOX they believed the Israelis had advance knowledge of the 9-11 attacks. (which certainly would explain why no Israelis died in the WTC) Still another US official informed FOX that some of the detained Israelis actually had links to 9-11, but he refused to describe the nature of those links. The FBI official told FOX’s Carl Cameron:

“Evidence linking these Israelis to 9-11 is classified. I cannot tell you about the evidence that has been gathered. It is classified information.”

Then there was that small army of Israeli “art students” who were arrested for trying to sneak into secured US Federal buildings and staking out 36 Department of Defense sites. Some of these suspicious “art students” even showed up at the homes of Federal employees. Ron Hatchett, a Department of Defense analyst, told Channel 11, KHOU news in Houston that he believed that the “art students” were gathering intelligence for future attacks.

Here’s an excerpt from the October 1, 2001 KHOU investigative report by Anna Werner:

“Could federal buildings in Houston and other cities be under surveillance by foreign groups? That’s what some experts are asking after federal law enforcement and security officials - nationally and in Houston - described for the 11 News Defenders a curious pattern of behavior by a group of people claiming to be Israeli art students.”

“Hatchett says they could be doing what he would be doing if he were a terrorist, sizing up the situation: “We need to know what are the entrances to this particular building. We need to know what are the surveillance cameras that are operating. We need to know how many guards are at this operation, when do they take breaks?” Says Hatchett: This is not a bunch of kids selling artwork.”

“A former Defense Department analyst, Hatchett believes groups may be gathering intelligence for possible future attacks. “Some organization, thinking in terms of a potential retaliation against the U.S. government could be scouting out potential targets and … looking for targets that would be vulnerable.”

And a source tells the Defenders of another federal memo, stating that besides Houston and Dallas, the same thing has happened at sites in New York, Florida, and six other states, and even more worrisome, at 36 sensitive Department of Defense sites. “One defense site you can explain,” says Hatchett, “well that was just a serendipitous, …….. Thirty-six? That’s a pattern.”

Remember the official motto of the Mossad - By Way of Deception Thou Shalt Do War.

Are you getting the picture? Can you say “false flag operations”?

In a follow up report a few days later, KHOU Channel 11 revealed that Dallas was also targetted:

“11 News reported how people claiming to be “Israeli art students” might be trying to sneak into federal buildings and defense sites, and even doing surveillance. And at least one expert said he thought it could all be preparation for an attack. Well, now federal sources say they are not ruling out that all of this could be connected with the hijackings on September 11, because of events in another Texas city.

In Dallas, the so-called students hit early this year at the city’s FBI building, the Drug Enforcement Administration and at the Earle Cabell Federal building, where guards found one student wandering the halls with a floor plan of the building.

So the Dallas INS went on the alert, finding and arresting 15 people in March. Thirteen claimed to be Israelis and two are professed Colombians. But according to sources, once again their passports were phony. And another federal source says some of those arrested also appeared to have lists of federal employees and their home addresses.

All 15 “students” have now been deported.

Now do you remember the Mossad’s “warning” about the 200 “Al-Qaeda terrorists” said to have been preparing major attacks in the US? At the time of this writing, we are three years into the largest investigation in American history, and not one of these 200 “terrorists” has yet to be uncovered.

But 200 Israeli spies were uncovered, among them many military members, electronics experts, wiretapping and phone tapping specialists, and explosives experts with the skill to bring down tall buildings.

Logic and common sense leads to the conclusion that the “200 Al Qaeda terrorists” were in reality, 200 Israelli Zionist terrorists sent to frame the Arabs for terrorist attacks and drag America into a war.

YOUR GOVERNMENT IS LYING TO YOU

And these lies are killing your children, destroying your economy and your freedoms and ultimately, your lives.

Americans who have Love and Empathy for all humanity and who are horrified to see what America has become must UNITE and form bonds of trust, communication, reason, common cause and TRUTH that will help us to find the ways and means, as peacefully as possible, to get these psychopaths who are destroying America and other countries, who aim at nothing less than the ownership and destruction of the entire Earth, confined in a way and a place where they can never again do to humanity what they are doing now.

As usually happens when I go on a text search through the quatrains of Nostradamus, I find interesting things that trigger my thoughts. In the case of the article about the proposed schism in the church and a pope at Avignon, after which the Muslims are supposed to invade, I had to get creative in my search. There was no term in all of the quatrains that was equivalent to “muslims” or “islam,” etc, so I tried “infidel” since that was the common term for Arabs during the time of Nostradamus. As I scanned the search results, the following caught my eye:

Quatrain 9,83

Sun twentieth of Taurus the earth will tremble very mightily,
It will ruin the great theater filled:
To darken and trouble air, sky and land,
Then the infidel will call upon God and saints.

I decided to check my ephemeris for when the Sun will be at 20 degrees of Taurus and noted that this year, it occurs on May 11. Funny that the number 11 keeps popping up in strange ways, such as September 11 and then March 11, both dates of so-called “terrorist attacks.”

It was strange that two big earthquakes happened on the day after Christmas and the day after Easter, something that was noted by many people and which they conspiratorially attributed to some super secret technological machinations of the Evil Bush Reich. I certainly think that if the Bush gang HAD such technology, they might very well use it, but I don’t think that they do. Even if they DID, hopefully there are at least enough brains between them to understand that setting off earthquakes can lead to nonlinear events even including one’s own destruction.

Having said that, there is still the fact that there were two serious earthquakes on the days immediately following the two “holiest” days of the Christian religion: Christmas and Easter, the “first birth” and the “second birth.” That is interesting to me.

Then, there is the number 11 that seems to be favored by the “evil terrorists,” who I suspect to be none other than the Bush Reich pulling the strings in the background. It’s a certainty that if you read Laura Knight-Jadczyk’s comments on the Pentagon Strike, you will be convinced that it was an Inside job.

Looking at the “prophecy” by Nostradamus, we notice these lines:

It will ruin the great theater filled:
To darken and trouble air, sky and land,

Referring again to the article about Fulcanelli and the Da Vinci Code by Laura Knight-Jadczyk, we note that there is a connection between Marguerite of Navarre and Queen Elizabeth I of England. One wonders if that also suggests a philosophical connection between the group that surrounded Marguerite and the group that surrounded Elizabeth which included Francis Bacon, long suspected to be the true author of the works of Shakespeare. In the play, As You Like It, we read:

All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players:

Perhaps Nostradamus meant “Great Theater” in the same sense? The “Global Stage,” so to say.

This leads us to the issue of Supervolcanoes and Toba.

The Toba supervolcano is situated in the very same geologic region as the recent monster earthquake on the day after Christmas that killed hundreds of thousands in Indonesia and the Indian Ocean basin by the generated tsunami. This was followed by the second deadly earthquake, on the day after Easter. An Australian expert is now saying that these earthquakes may very well be precursors to the eruption of Toba, a supervolcano whose eruption would dwarf all previous catastrophes.

Professor Ray Cas of Monash University’s School of Geosciences (Australia) says the world’s biggest supervolcano at Lake Toba on Indonesia’s island of Sumatra sits on a faultline running down the middle of Sumatra where some seismologists say a third earthquake might strike following the killer quakes on December 26, 2004 and the more recent one in late March, this year. Both those quakes occurred along faultlines running just off Sumatra’s west coast and created seismological stresses which could, according to Dr. Cas, hasten an eruption of Toba. Toba’s “last eruption released 1,000 cubic kilometers (240 cubic miles) of ash and rock debris into the atmosphere, much of it as fine ash which blocked out solar radiation, kicking the world back into an ice age,” he says.

To get a handle on this, consider the following: Back in 1883 the volcano Krakatau (”Krakatoa”) in Indonesia exploded.

“The eruption was one of the most catastrophic natural disasters in recorded history. The effects were experienced on a global scale. Fine ashes from the eruption were carried by upper level winds as far away as New York City. The explosion was heard more than 3000 miles away. Volcanic dust blew into the upper atmosphere affecting incoming solar radiation and the earth’s weather for several years. A series of large tsunami waves generated by the main explosion, some reaching a height of nearly 40 meters (more than 120 feet) above sea level, killed more than 36,000 people in the coastal towns and villages along the Sunda Strait on Java and Sumatra islands. Tsunami waves were recorded or observed throughout the Indian Ocean, the Pacific Ocean, the American West Coast, South America, and even as far away as the English Channel.”

On the newly devised scale of volcanic eruptions, a “Supervolcano” is a volcanic eruption of a magnitude of “8” on the Volcano Explosivity Index, meaning that more than 1,000 cubic kilometers of magma are erupted. Krakatoa was only a “6″.

But then, there is also the slumbering Supervolcano in Yellowstone National Park. It has been “sleeping” for about 640,000 years and is said to erupt about ever 600,000 years. So, it’s a bit overdue. Scientists have recently begun to sound the alarm, saying that the global risk posed by a supervolcanic eruption somewhere in the world is between five and ten times greater than the probability of earth being struck by a giant asteroid.

It’s easy to see that if Toba blows, it will definitely “darken and trouble air, sky and land.”

However, considering my previous post about the Pope and who the “infidels” might actually be, we wonder about the last line of this quatrain of Nostradamus:

Then the infidel will call upon God and saints.

The “saints,” in the terms Nostradamus would have used were “Christians.” It seems that he is indicating to us that the “infidels” are those who would call on the Saints, i.e. the Christian West.

All interesting to think about. And with the spate of recent earthquakes, we can suspect that something is up deep inside our planet, and even if George Bush and his neocons THINK that they “create reality,” they may be surprised to discover that Mother Earth has different plans.

Bogota: The pope elected to succeed John Paul II will be assassinated and his death will spark a Muslim invasion of the West that will split the Roman Catholic church, according to an interpretation of Nostradamus’ prophecies by a leading Colombian author.

“The next pope elected will be subsequently murdered in central Italy. Then comes pope number 112, who will flee Rome because of an attack by Muslims,” Gonzalo Echeverri, a Colombian investigating judge and author of a book on Nostradamus told AFP.

According to Echeverri, the pope will base himself in Avignon, France and another pontiff will take control in Italy, splitting the Catholic church in two.

“There is a very clear prophecy that says the holy father will move to another place, even warning that the French pope will not be able to stay in Avignon due to the Muslim invasion and will flee again to Lyon, where he will be attacked, according to Nostradamus,” Echeverri said.

Avignon was a base for popes for much of the 14th century, another time of grave divisions in the Church and Europe.

Nostradamus was a 16th century scholar who made prophecies. His supporters say he predicted the French revolution, the rise of Hitler and the assassination of President John F Kennedy.

I started to think about this “prediction” and it really didn’t “feel right,” so to say. The likelihood of there being such an open split in the Catholic church, the possibility of a pope taking up residence in Avignon in this day and age, is so remote as to be laughable.

Since I don’t have this guy’s book and can’t find out exactly what quatrain he is talking about, and since I have a computerized text version of Nostradamu’s quatrains and a search program, I did a search to see if anything at all fit.

Nothing did.

I can only think that he is reading something into a quatrain that is very vague, and what it is, I don’t know.

When I first read this, I immediately thought of the contankerations surrounding Phillippe le Bel and his desire to eliminate the Templars and take all their goodies for himself. There is a pretty good synopsis of the events HERE.

We read here about a certain event that is quite astonishing and sounds exactly like what the Colombian author has described:

… [T]he French king Philip IV (the Fair) was getting impatient with the pope for not crowning him Emperor. He began taxing the clergy and withholding church revenues - despite an earlier papal bull that this was a grave offence.

In 1302, Boniface penned a Bull Unam Sanctam (‘one holy’) not just to Philip but to the whole church:

‘There is but one, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church outside of which there is no salvation …

‘We declare that it is wholly necessary for salvation for every creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff’.

A year later, Boniface was working on another Bull, this time to excommunicate Philip. What he didn’t know was that Nogaret had joined forces with Sciarra Colonna, relative of the sacked cardinals. In October that year (1303), their forces stormed into Anagni, the pope’s favourite retreat. The invaders began burning the main doors of the cathedral and slaughtered all who had not yet fled. They then advanced towards the palace, killing all (bishops included) along the way. The pope’s bodyguards surrendered.

Sciarra made his way to the huge audience chamber. There sat the pope, 86, alone except for a single cowering cardinal. He was attired in full regalia, including a gold cross in his hands. Initially awed, Sciarra strode slowly towards the Pontiff. “Resign”, he shouted and slapped him across the face, the chamber walls echoing with the sound.. Too proud to beg for mercy, Boniface lowered his head and intoned that he was ready to die. Sciarra hesitated and then raised his sword.

Just then Nogaret burst in and shouted at him that the pope was wanted in France to face a general council. Sciarra put back his sword but proceeded to strip the pope of his costly tiara and garments until he stood nearly naked, showing his body infested with lice. He was thrown into a dungeon, dark and dank. Meanwhile the people of the town got organised, drove away the invaders and rescued the pope.

Boniface was a changed man. The hunger and thirst in the dungeon, the darkness and isolation, the rats scampering over him had unhinged him. He kept himself locked in the Lateran for 5 weeks and there in solitude he died. His predecessor Celestine had foretold: “You leapt to the throne like a fox, you will rule like a lion, you will die like a dog.”

The next pope, Benedict XI, died of dysentery in 8 months. There was 11 months of wrangling between the French and other cardinals deciding on his successor. In the end, the Archbishop of Bordeaux was elected as Pope Clement V. King Philip of France had a French pope at last. Clement never set foot in Rome. In order not ‘to cause pain to our dear son, the King of France’, in 1309 he moved to Avignon, a small city in Provence which then belonged not to France but to the king of Naples.It was almost surrounded by papal territory. He agreed to be crowned at Lyon, absolved Philip and Nogaret of all wrong doing and even published a bull praising Philip for his hostile actions against Boniface. Clement created a large number of cardinals, most of them French, 5 being members of his own family. He died in 1314. It took two years to decide on his successor, John XXII.

The thing is, all of this happened BEFORE the time of Nostradamus and, since Nostradamus is supposed to be writing prophecies, that is, things that will happen in the future, “true believers” have to project such events forward in time.

But, what if Nostradamus was not ALWAYS writing about the future? What if Nostradamus was writing also about the past, that is, recording things for posterity so that people would know “what really happened?”

The reason I am suggesting this is because of an article I have already mentioned by Laura Knight-Jadczyk entitled “The True Identity of Fulcanelli and the Da Vinci Code.” In this article she mentions the following:

Another of Marguerite’s [of Navarre, wife of Henri d’Albret] associates and correspondents was Jules Cesar Scaliger who was a close friend and associate of Nostradamus. Nostradamus, as it happens, was born in Alet-le-Bains, in Foix lands. Nostradamus also attended school with Rabelais.

In 1525 Nostradamus settled in Agen, not far from Toulouse and Auch. In 1534, it is said he married a woman of “High Estate”, who gave him two children. This woman has never been identified, but considering his highly probable association with Marguerite of Navarre, it is likely that there was some connection there. It is said that, in 1538, his wife and children died of the plague. Around the same time, he had a falling out with Scaliger, and he was accused of heresy by the Inquisition…

The article focuses, in part, on a “history” recorded in Auch Cathedral. About Auch Cathedral, Knight-Jadczyk writes:

There is a very great mystery in the city of Auch. It consists of two masterpieces of Renaissance art preserved in St. Mary’s Cathedral - a cathedral dedicated to “The Black Virgin.

She then quotes a priest who has made Auch Cathedral his life’s study:

The artists of the Gothic Cathedrals would be none other than the Compagnons du devoir de liberté - The Companions Devoted to Liberty.

These companions have been able to give full initiative to their art, to the point of expressing in many places their initiations - of course, discreetly.

This remarkable set is not mere art! Like the windows, it contains thought, a message.

When we carefully observe the details, in the stalls, something immediately appears to our eyes: Demons and snakes, malevolent animals and monsters of all species swarm there. This invasion contributes to give to this whole a tragic aspect that also agrees very well with the profound movement of history that is narrated to us.

This tragic aspect is complementary and has to be put in relationship to the windows of Arnaud de Moles. The windows and stalls constitute a whole. The two masterpieces were designed at the same time. The same story is told. Its theme was proposed to the glaziers and the sculptors. This theme evokes the same reality: the reality of man in general.

One would almost think about Dante’s Inferno. But this obvious tragedy is not hell - it is the history of humanity on earth. Charity - empty handed - walks right before the monsters and demons, sustained by one same hope, going alone, but courageous, to face evil, the malevolent snake. At the end of the cycle, she becomes triumphant Strength. Her mission is accomplished because we see all malevolent snakes crushed under her feet or finally mastered in her hands.

Since this history is told and relived in retrospect, our artists knew in advance that this dramatic adventure had to bring us to Life.

What breadth! What perspective! that comes out of the thought of the woodwork of the choir of Auch. Some connoisseurs are not afraid to compare the extraordinary work of these stalls with the frescoes of Michelangelo. [Raymond Montané]

When I read “this history is told and relived in retrospect” and knew that the creators of this artwork were somehow connected to Leonardo Da Vinci and to Nostradamus, as well as the “father of Western Historical chronology,” Jules Cesar Scaliger, I realized that it must be so that Nostradamus not only made prophecies, but he recorded for us the “inside scoop” on events of the time, and the periods immediately preceding his own historical placement.

Thus, the issue of the schism of the Catholic Church and the Pope at Avignon MUST refer to the affair of Nogaret and Boniface VIII.

Boniface’s contest with Philip IV of France was the principal feature of his career. One suspects that what Nostradamus may have been trying to tell us (and I am still not sure of the quatrain that the esteemed Colombian writer refers to) was that Boniface was murdered so that Phillipe Le Bel could have his French pope, Clement V.

Now, the interesting thing about Boniface VIII is that he comes up in the Mystery of Rennes-le-Chateau. The alleged story about this renegade country priest says that he went to Paris and returned with reproductions of three paintings: The Shepherds of Arcadia by Poussin, The second is St. Anthony and St. Paul by Teniers, and the third was a painting of Pope St. Celestine V. Supposedly, these paintings are clues to the solution of some mystery. Whether or not any of that is true as is told by the “Rennes-le-Chateau” cottage industry of mystery manufacturing, I can’t say. But in the present case, the connection IS interesting. The site with the paintings I have linked to tells us the following:

I would like to quote a very short biography written totally from the church’s perspective. First it should be noted that he ruled as Pope for less than a year which seemed to be a habit at this time in history so that in itself is not unique. ….

“On December 13th Celestine met the cardinals in the great hall of the palace. Clad in his pontificals he read them the decree of abdication, then stepped down and stripped himself of all papal imsignia. The “Great Refusal”, as Dante called it.

Celestine was kept in confinement by his successor Boniface VIII, lest he should become the tool of designing schemes and endanger the unity of the church, He died on May 19th, 1296. Pope Clement V cannonized him in. (This is, if one studies the record carfully, so much rubbish. How could he have possibly endangered the unity of the church. There appears to be much more to this story than the church would let on. There are reports that he was instrumental in helping the Templars and that is why he was carefully locked up untill his death. Sure would be interesting to get into The Vatican Archives and read some of what was really written during this time. I am sure it would be illuminating !)

The painting is entitled “Allegory of the Coronation of Celestine V” and is supposedly a French painting of the 16th century, however how they can date it to this period not knowing the artist is beyond me. There is no history of it as far as who owned it and how it came into being and furthermore I have yet to be able to see a rendition in colour. Very curious indeed. Personally I get the feeling that it is perhaps earlier than they say but then what do I know of art. It is, of course, housed in the Louvre.

It seems interesting that the description of the confrontation with Boniface VIII and Nogaret describes the Pope being stripped to the point that it was seen that his body was infested with lice, and then we have Celestine V stripping himself of all Papal insignia before being locked up by Boniface VIII. Then, along comes Clement V who does a big cover-up.

So, my guess is that this was a crucial point in history and Nostradamus may have been trying to tell us something that had nothing to do with an invasion of Muslims, but rather the take-over of the church by a gang of infidels of a different sort.

I was surfing around on the Cassiopaea website that I mentioned finding previously and found there an article about Saint Malachy - the guy who supposedly made prophecies about the Popes. The article says:

Skipping over the details of all the other prophecies, we come to the mystical title of the present pope: De labore Solis the labour of the sun. Some analysts have suggested that this can also mean “the eclipse of the sun.” Either way, it works.

Karol Wojtyla was born on May 18, 1920 during a solar eclipse. Before the present solar maximum, analysts attempted to explain this prophecy by pointing out that Wojtyla came from behind the former Iron Curtain and they made references to “the Woman Clothed with the Sun who was described as being in labor in Revelation 12 because of his devotion to the Virgin Mary.

Well, what’s so interesting about that, you ask? Notice that Pope John-Paul II was born during a solar eclipse. Today I read the following (which I sent to the Cassiopaea site owners right away):

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) — Sky-watchers from the South Pacific to the Americas will witness the first solar eclipse of 2005 on Friday when the moon blots out part of the sun. It will be a partial eclipse rather than a total one, in which the Earth is cast into darkness. But it will be the last partial solar eclipse visible from the continental United States until May 20, 2012. […]

It sure is curious that this recent pope was born during an eclipse and will be buried during an eclipse.

I wonder if there is any significance to the area that will experience the eclipse? I mean, does that designate any sort of “darkness” falling on those areas in the sense of global events?

Anyway, I think that this is very interesting considering my idea that Nostradamus predicted the Scandalous death of Terri Schiavo.

A friend wrote and pointed out that Princess Diana’s death was followed, within a week, by the death of a “Catholic Icon,” Mother Theresa. Now, we have the sacrificial death of Terri Schiavo, to be followed within a week by the death of another Catholic Icon, Pope John Paul II.

Rather curious, don’t you think?

Also curious that both Diana and Terri died on the 31st day of the months August and April.

Diana died in the year of Hale-Bopp. There were several visible comets in 2004 and 2005.

Wonder if it means anything or if it is just one of those strange coincidences?

I didn’t think it would happen this fast, but it did. In this article:
Schiavo’s Family Plans Separate Funerals we read:

In Washington on Thursday, the president was careful to extend condolences to Schiavo’s “families” - meaning both Michael Schiavo and the Schindlers - even though he backed efforts to reconnect her feeding tube. He urged the creation of “a culture of life where all Americans are welcomed and valued and protected.”

House Republican Leader Tom DeLay condemned the state and federal judges who refused to prolong her life, and he warned that lawmakers “will look at an arrogant and out-of-control judiciary that thumbs its nose at Congress and the president.”

Gov. Bush, the president’s brother, said Schiavo’s death “is a window through which we can see the many issues left unresolved in our families and in our society. For that, we can be thankful for all that the life of Terri Schiavo has taught us.”

Did you catch that? “… lawmakers “will look at an arrogant and out-of-control judiciary that thumbs its nose at Congress and the president.”

Now remember, this “arrogant, out of control judiciary” is the same gang that put Bush in office when Al Gore really won the election of 2000. You can bet that Bush, the Neocons, and MOSSAD have exactly as much control over the judiciary in the matter of Terri Schiavo as they had over the matter of the stolen election.

In short, the Bush gang never intended to “save” Terri Schiavo despite all their political posturing. The wanted, instead, to set up the illusion that the rule of law is the “bad cop” and they are, of course, the “good cop.” Michael Schiavo - monster and psychopath - was undoubtedly supported behind the scenes by the White House as he played his role of thumbing his nose at Bush and Co. Wonder how much they paid him to act as the lightning rod of the Fundie Right hatred that took the heat off Bush?

Watch as this develops… Every “right to life,” “anti-abortion,” Fundie Freak in the good ole U.S. of A. is going to be convinced that Bush would have saved Terri if it hadn’t been for those bad, nasty judges. What to do? Why, it’s simple! Just put the absolute power of deciding life or death in the hands of our Dear Savior and his Representative on Earth: Dubya!
